Arriving in Oriental Print: Japan Photo Diary 1

So arrived at about 4pm at my Grandma's after a total of 14 hours flying taking 3 different planes. 

Basically fell straight asleep and the next day explored Ginza and ate so much amazing food.

I'll post diaries everytime i get some interesting/outfit images.

If there is any places, parks, clubs/bars, shops, areas, restaurants etc you advise me to visit while i'm in tokyo till the 3rd of Jan, just comment below!

I'm off to Tokyo tomorrow, will be staying there till the 3rd of January and I will be posting/updating a lot on here and my Instagram account daily (@erikabowes). Really excited for a change of scenery, to see my family and to eat sushi everyday!

Interview with Ricky Lee Richards

I met up with Ricky Lee Richards in London for an interview I had to do for my Fashion Communication course, it was nice to be back in London again, eating Japanese food and going out in Shoreditch.

These are just three outfit ideas that i'd wear with a chunky winter jumper this year. I'm still loving minimalistic combinations and not using too much colour.

Some items are obviously stupidly expensive, so try finding something similar or something you'd rather wear instead!

Love these Roshe Run's sent by Size.co.uk. I've been meaning to invest in a pair of these trainers for a while, just never got round to it so i'm glad to receive a pair!
They are literally THE comfiest shoes ever, extremely light and pretty much go with all dark colours.

I love the bright colours with an all black outfit and the laid back shoe with leather pieces.

Just another outfit for university lectures, and once again, applogise for the awful quality of images, the best i can do without my mums camera and a tripod!

Nice to recive little presents still while away studying, go check out MARKET HQ an australian online store with brands such as Mink Pink, Evil Twin etc!

Dressing down a very smart jacket and I prefer it like this!

Obsessing over these 'maxi' or 'long line' blazers recently i have both black and white. My next post will be with my black blazer which is more of a night time/going out look!

Another uni/bad photography update!

My green fuzzy waistcoat is so so warm on a night out, but kinda hard to pair and style! 

I put it together with this monochrome motel playsuit i was gifted over a year ago as i liked the contrast, then paired it with the minimal transparent clutch i was given from Tarte vintage recently, go check their store out, so many gorgeous vintage and new pieces!

And the food is from Homemade Burger Co. my dad got me it when he came to visit, it's probably the best meal i've had since i've gotten here!
