Had an amazing summer this year, have been non-stop travelling for the past two months and now im feeling it..urgh.
At the end of July my family and I took a trip to Germany and luckily got to visit Berlin for 5 days and Dresden for 4. I've been wanting to see Berlin for the past two years as i've been told it's a beautiful, clean and fashionable city with so many interesting restaurants, shops and art. It was so different to what I expected but in a really good way. My favourite places to shop were at Hackescher Markt (so many cute stores, Cos, Stories, AA etc and little cute cafes).  I do suggest checking out Kreuzberg, its a lot different to Checkpoint Charlie area (were i stayed) it has a lot more going out, markets, art. A description stolen from the Guardian 'Few neighbourhoods illustrate Berlin's transformation with such vividness as Kreuzberg. Once enclosed on three sides by the Berlin Wall, this former West Berlin neighbourhood, immediately south of the river Spree, drew immigrants, hippies, artists and squatters while the city was divided. It feels more gentrified and upscale these days but still has a revolutionary streak, and is now the hub of Germany's digital currency boom, with the world's highest density of businesses accepting Bitcoin. If you come, rent a bike: it's by far the best way to get around.'
We then travelled to Dresden (my parents choice) which I wasn't to fussed about since I hadn't heard much about the place but it is so beautiful, a lot different to Berlin but one of the prettiest cities i've stayed in! We rode bikes from Dresden all the way to the next town (can't remember the name) but was around 37 miles there and back, made up for not going to the gym for a week D:

The day after getting home from Germany I flew straight to Ibiza for 6 days (will do a small blog, but it was mainly alcohol, tanning and food), moved into my new student house for when I go back to uni, then to Leeds Festival for 5 days (i'll try find some decent photos that show my festival outfits, [which ended up being the same thing for 3 days haha] and the acts I saw), now i'm dyinnnnggg.

But I will definitely be going back to Berlin soon!
