PART 1: Topshop Christmas Collab

Saturday, 22 November 2014

This is Part One of my christmas collaboration with Topshop for Party Wear in December! If your not much of a dress/skirt wearer like me, suits are my go to if i'm wanting to get dressed up for an occasion. This is a two piece from the Topshop Boutique section and its quality is amazing, also the length of this jacket/blazer is perfect, its also has one slit on the right hand side. If your also not into over accessorising this bag adds enough colour and interesting texture to an outfit.

I NEVER wear dresses but I couldn't resist this slouchly relaxed fitting midi-ish dress from Urban Outfitters.
I'm not one for short tight skirts or dresses but it's obviously 'party season' so this is as close as i'll get to a dress, but because it's so oversized it doesn't have that girly look, thankfully.
I'd wear these flats out but for thoes who prefer a little heel i'd pair it with Senso heel's i recently picked from Urban Outfitters.

Montreal Photo Diary: SHELLYS LDN S/S15

(All pictures taken for Instagram purposes @erikabowes)

Last week I was flew over to Montreal, Canada, to be a part of the Shellys London Spring Summer 2015 campaign. I'd never been to Canada before so was nice to finally get a chance to visit, although it was ridiculously cold. My trip was pretty much going from hotel to the studio then to dinner then to sleep, but other than all the working it was a really different, fun experience. It was amazing meeting the team in Montreal and finding out more about the company and all the work that goes into each collection and the guys and girls behind it.

I was put in a boutique hotel called Hotel Gault which is located in Old Montreal, which I strongly recommend as it was close enough to all the restaurants, Starbucks etc and the service was really good.

I didn't get much time to actually explore Montreal properly as I would of liked to see the Notre-Dame, Botanical Gardens and the view from the top of Mount Royal. But I did get a chance to check out the contemporary art museum, which was interesting and also has student discounted price. I also recommend a little vegan cafe i found called Copper Branch and famous brunch and coffee place called Olive et Gourmando.
