Went to London for the weekend firstly to go visit the London College of fashion as i had booked a place for the open day. If i'm honest I wasn't too happy with the location on at lime grove but the course, Fashion Communication, looked and sounded pretty cool and interesting. But when looking at Universities you need to like every aspect of it. But after spending about 3 hours listening to presentations and looking around the site I went shopping and literally spend all my wages I got like 3 days ago. So i'm pretty depressed about that now as i'm skint but at least I got a birthday outfit, vintage leather jacket and other vintage finds.
Also I stuffed my face with food from Wasabi, eg Sushi and Chicken Katsu Curry.
I'm going to visit Northumbria University again this weekend, then Edinbrough then London again to see Central Saint Martins. At the moment i'm most impressed with Northumbria's Fashion Communication Course, but if you know any other universities in the UK that do it let me know!
Laaaavly photos! Your hair is brown again!!!! Looks gorgeous but it did look amazing before xx
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, hope you find the uni your sure on going to soon! My mum is always saying that I should got to saint martins once I finish college but I want to have a look round first too.

I go to southampton solent and do fashion promotion, the uni itself has a bad rep but it's actually so good for fashion, you learn a lot of photographic and it skills and it pretty much covers everything around fashion, southampton is not nearly as exciting as london though haha x
ReplyDeletegreat shots.
ReplyDeleteI went to UCA - Uni. of the Creative Arts - check there out too (and possibly Uni. of Westminster)

i do Fashion Communication at Northumbria, it's really good & you get lots of contacts and opportunities to work during LFW ETC plus such a good design building full of MACS & an amazing photography studio! x
ReplyDeleteNottingham Trent is a great uni for fashion! It does so many different types, promotion, design, communication, merchandising etc x

ReplyDeleteI'm studying Fashion Photography at LCF right now and I love it.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I find Lime Grove fine and if you stay at the halls (The Costume Store) it's only three stops on the tube. The Costume Store is gorgeous BTW.
Good luck with your choices.
I FLIPPING LOVE YOUR BOOTS
ReplyDeleteNo way! I can't believe you're looking at LCF too! I'm 17, and an aspiring fashion designer :P Love your style a lot, and btdubs, you don't look 17 at all!

http://nicolelikes.blogspot.com
If you ever have time, it'd be great if you could visit my blog :D
I wish I'd booked a place for an open day at LCF. I applied and had an interview for the Styling and Photography course there last year, completely unprepared, but it was the only place I applied for anyway and had planned to go back to college for a year. The Lime Grove campus is definitely in an awkward place but Westfields isn't very far which is the only plus really. I'm going to have to start visiting universities, there's so much choice and it must be so much better getting to see it from your own perspective.

I absolutely adore everything you wear! I really value your style because you don't wear what everyone is wearing, you wear things that I would never expect to want to buy but when I see them on you I fall head over feet!
